I was originally banned for insisting on encyclopedic standards for uranium toxicity (which was binomially distributed in the primary peer-reviewed scientific and medical literature, while the secondary literature unanimously rejected the astroturfed zero-harm assertions) and I am the only banned user to have taken an article to featured status while banned. These are the sorts of things that the people who ask for enforcement against me do. In the past, I thought my case was worthy of civil disobedience, but now my lack of standing on enwiki is interfering with my ability to volunteer for the Foundation. The mention of 1980 is actually a reference to the (late) eighties, when NHK (Japanese public television) ran a "school children's/educational program" on them. That fits roughly with what our (unexcellent) article on "Cuteness in Japanese culture" says when it gives the start of the phenomenon of kawaii in the 1970s.Physchim62https://www.blogger.com/profile/03257223365429374032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12886811.post-61552551406358231022010-03-23T12:31:20.351-07:002010-03-23T12:31:20.351-07:00No one told me I wasn't supposed to like cute!...No one told me I wasn't supposed to like cute!
